**About the Role**

Senior Software Engineers are senior full stack engineers and solid individual contributors at Wazoku implementing and maintaining our SaaS platform and its integrations. They are capable of independently leading and delivering feature changes. They can consider the knock-on effects of their work within our systems and the business at large A Senior Software Engineer works with other engineers, Product Managers and Quality Assurance analysts throughout the software development life cycle. As a Senior Software Engineer, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

Senior Software Engineers will be involved in new feature development and maintenance of our Platform written in TypeScript & Angular on the front-end and Django & DRF in the back end.

**Responsibilities**
- Architect and implement full stack solutions with a keen focus on usability, performance and security.
- Take ownership of our Angular SPA and guide its evolution
- Collaborate with Product managers to ideate solutions
- Participate in estimation and planning of user stories and lead on changes/features assigned to them
- Produce clean, secure, well documented, and performant code with adequate test coverage using Angular in the front end
- Has a high impact in peer reviews with focus on correctness and code quality
- Collaborate with QA to test code, troubleshoot issues and resolve bugs
- Provide expertise in addressing complex technical challenges and making informed decisions on technology selection and implementation strategies
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

**Requirements**:

- Experienced web Engineer with a solid understanding of general web principals including web performance, security, REST APIs, responsive design & mobile constraints
- Expertise in Angular and Typescript
- Strong knowledge of software testing techniques and a proponent of TDD
- Knowledge of distributed version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of software testing techniques such as unit, integration, and automated browser testing
- Knowledge of the WCAG accessibility standards
- Familiarity with python-based server-side frameworks, Django being preferable.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and lead by example
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesExperience with software design and architectural principles

Salary range $12,000,000 - $15,000,000 COP monthly depending on experience
