**Primary Purpose of the Position**:
The Accounting Cost Analyst is responsible for performing cost accounting closing, inventory and budget control and support the factory in cost matters. The position reports directly to the local Cost & General Accounting Manager who reports functionally and operationally to the Controller.

**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the reconciliation accounts, analyze differences and add the support documentation, in accordance with company policies.
- Registration of journal entries during the month and in the month-end closing process.
- Prepare the month-end closing activities to transmit accurate financials in accordance with the Regional and Corporate deadlines. Prepare the Final Cost determination.
- Give support to all the areas of the company, giving the information required in time Prepare information and analysis requested by internal and external auditors.
- Prepared other information and analysis for special projects and cost studies according business decisions.
- Prepare Standard Cost calculation, Cost Reports, Manufacturing Indicators, control Plant Budgets, ensure proper Cost allocation to the material, support Physical Inventory process and other cost related activities.
- Prepare Cost Estimates and Annual Operation Plan (AOP) Build organizational capability for innovation through training and other avenues.
- Continuously promote changes and innovative improvements on process, systems and business concepts in order to deliver profitable and sustainable growth opportunities to Goodyear.

**Education**:
An undergraduate degree with a concentration in a business related field (i.e. Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.)
Desired: Accounting Certification (i.e. CPA)

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance / Accounting.
- Experience working with multi-national corporations (Desired).
- Knowledge of both local (IFRS) and US GAAP accounting rules (Desired).
- Experience in Industrial Process (Plant).
- Knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in SAP.
