Description

Charger Logistics is a world class asset-based carrier. We specialize in delivering your assets, on time and on budget. With the diverse fleet of equipment, we can handle a range of freight, including dedicated loads, specialized hauls, temperature-controlled goods and HAZMAT cargo.

**This will be a remote position, working from home**

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions.
- Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable quick and reliable deployment of software across all environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform to manage infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes in a repeatable and predictable manner.
- Manage and optimize cloud services and resources, including compute, storage, and networking components, to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance optimization.
- Work closely with IT teams to integrate cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
- Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Datadog to monitor system health and performance.
- Enforce security best practices for both cloud and on-premise environments, including network configurations, access controls, and data encryption.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to ensure DevOps practices align with organizational goals.

Requirements
- **More than 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer**:

- **Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) and Kubernetes (e.g., CKAD, CKA, CKS).**:

- Hands-on experience with security tools and vulnerability scanning in DevOps pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure security services and features.
- Experience with **Azure DevOps, Azure services**, and on-premises infrastructure management
- Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and containerization
- Proven experience in DevSecOps or a similar role
- Work closely with development and operations teams to embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Set up and monitor security alerts and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Develop and maintain automated security testing and deployment scripts.
- Utilize tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet,python,bash powershell).
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Terraform, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
