About the job:
As Head of Supply Chain for Opella Healthcare Colombia, you will lead the full end-to-end supply chain function, playing a critical role in ensuring product availability, operational agility, and strategic alignment with commercial growth priorities.

You will be a key member of the Country Leadership Team, acting as a business partner—not just a functional expert. This role requires a bold, visionary leader capable of transforming supply chain into a competitive advantage while role modeling strong leadership, ownership, and team empowerment.

Main responsibilities:

- Lead and transform the full E2E Supply Chain: demand and supply planning, distribution, logistics, and customer service, ensuring excellence in service level, cost, and compliance.
- Drive leadership across the function: Inspire, develop, and challenge a diverse team, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and collaboration.
- Be a strategic partner to the business: Work closely with the Country GM, Commercial, Finance, and Global Supply Chain to align supply capabilities with growth ambitions.
- Enable simplification and agility: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Own crisis management and resilience building: Anticipate and proactively manage risks to guarantee uninterrupted product supply in a highly regulated and dynamic market.
- Champion a culture of collaboration and ownership across functions and with global stakeholders.

About you:

- Experience:

- 10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain leadership roles in Healthcare, Pharma, or FMCG.
- Strong understanding of and experience in planning, customer service, inventory management, warehousing and distribution; familiarity with supply chain analytics, forecasting, and optimization tools is also beneficial
- Proven track record of leading diverse teams and influencing across matrixed environments.
- Experience navigating complex regulatory environments and high-demand operations.
- Skilled in S&OP/IBP processes, supply planning, and logistics execution.
- Skills:

- Results-driven team player, able to balance global and regional objectives and requirements with local/market demands
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills, capable of resolving and closing complex supply chain challenges
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to link operational decisions to commercial impact
- Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in supply chain management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, data analytics tools, and other relevant technologies is increasingly important; knowledge of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and Internet of Things (IoT) in the context of supply chain management can be an added advantage
- Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a related/relevant field
- Languages: Strong communicator in English and Spanish.
