Lead Security Engineer

We are currently on the hunt for a seasoned Lead Systems Security Engineer to join our remote workforce. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead and enhance our systems' security. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out security assessments of cloud or DevOps technology deployments
- Embed security checks into CI/CD pipelines for major cloud types, with a focus on GCP
- Leverage software development or scripting skills, preferably Python, to enhance security measures
- Offer consulting services and guide other teams to advance product security capabilities
- Act as a security expert and provide technical leadership to other team members
- Aid in establishing appsec capabilities and integrate tools such as SAST/DAST/IAST/SCA/secrets detection into the build pipeline

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 5 years of professional experience as a Security Engineer
- Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role
- Proficiency in GCP, particularly for implementing and managing security measures
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically for integrating security checks
- Expertise in Terraform for managing cloud resources and infrastructure as code
- Solid understanding of authentication and authorization fundamentals
- Proficiency in REST for designing and developing web services
- Experience in remediation of software supply chain attacks
- Fluent in English with a proficiency level of B2 or higher

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with AWS, particularly for implementing and managing security measures
- Familiarity with DevOps for enhancing collaboration between development and IT operations
- Experience with HashiCorp Sentinel for policy as code framework
