**About the role**:

- As a Senior Accountant, you will perform accounting functions requiring full professional competency and specific experience. Your responsibilities will include dealing with and reporting to internal and external control authorities, account reconciliations, managing fixed assets (IAS 16), leases (IFRS 16), forex, compliance, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and deferred expenses. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, among other duties.

**What you will do**:

- Assist management with the implementation of new financial projects to achieve timely and accurate results.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support all local requirements for the year-end in each LATAM country.
- Be responsible for the execution and completion of internal and external audits for LATAM.
- Support the development, implementation, and improvement of policies, procedures, and internal control standards.
- Collaborate across Finance, OPS, and HR areas to increase efficiency in accounting/financial processes and strengthen interfaces between departments.
- Prepare, reconcile, and analyze expenses, revenue, variances, and balance sheet accounts for LATAM.
- Execute assigned processes for pre-closing and closing activities to achieve timely and accurate results for the LATAM monthly financial closing.
- Propose improvements for accounting processes, identifying opportunities for automation.
- Provide meaningful reports, presentations, analysis, and required information for managed projects/tasks.
- Act as a finance business partner.
- Post GL documents with appropriate supporting documentation for LATAM.
- Coordinate accounting functions in other countries.
- Communicate with other areas to identify improvements in common processes.
- Support the Chief Accountant, Financial Controller, and Finance Director as needed.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Professional in Public Accounting
- Have a valid professional card to sign financial statements
- +5 years of proven experience as an accountant, desirable on financial companies
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- ** Advanced English level**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
