Overview
The Digital Payments team is responsible for powerting the world of commerce—making payments more seamless and secure, so that people can pay anywhere, anytime, and how they choose. Mastercard’s core network and digital platforms increase security by tokenizing and authenticating every transactions reducing fraud and improving approval rates.

The Senior Analyst is responsible for finance support and analyses for a broad range of finance related responsibilities and will partner with the various product teams to drive forward strategy and maximize revenue while optimizing deployment of investment funding.
Being able to analyze data, coordinating with FP&A, billing and GBSC are key attributes for success as is the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders located in different parts of Mastercard.

Role
- Manage all aspects of the day-to-day financial responsibilities such as monthly close, annual budget/regular forecast, financial reporting, variance analysis, opportunities and risks to revenue
- Support in the technical development of revenue models
- Manage, develop and create material to support ongong business reviews that will help drive and support the business, including business metrics/KPIs
- Support VP on business case development; ensuring the Financials/Go-to-Market / Commercialization strategy are all aligned
- Execute on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modeling; review and create suggestions to financial systems
- Investigate and create opportunities for automation and more efficient methods of report creation and delivery anticipating needs of internal customers, members and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with accounting, reporting and FP&A teams on financial forecasts and maintain ongoing assessment of spending risks/opportunities.
- Prepare monthly and adhoc presentations
- Support effective cost management and efficiency efforts

All About You
- Excellent finance skills business case development and scenario analysis, budget, planning and forecast experience
- Advanced modeling and analytical skills
- Ability to translate complex information into simple chunks
- Excellent project management and follow through skills
- Demonstrates strong self-awareness, keenness to learn and a strategic mindset. Open to different approaches and ideas and willing to challenge status quo to drive new business initiatives
- Ability to perform successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities and assignments concurrently
- Strong sense of urgency; excels in a deadline driven work environment
- Strong skills in Hyperion, Excel and PowerPoint required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related discipline, MBA Preferred (preferably in Finance/General Management)
