Lead Accountant

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records every month
- Pay all vendors and government entities including insurance vendors, permit fees and taxes with appropriate city, state, and federal government entities
- Correspond with all vendors regarding accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure accurate maintenance of books and on time payments
- Review and accurately code corporate credit card purchases for all locations
- Report and file sales tax monthly
- File 1099s
- Work with CPA for annual tax filings
- Proactive process improvement for more efficient financial management
- Assist with onboarding of new locations
- Process payroll weekly and review
- Request refunds for canceled orders
- Manage and responding to mail
- Take ownership of & improve standard operating procedures

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Master of Quickbooks Online
- Bookkeeping/Accounting Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- CPA & high level of familiarity with GAAP standards
- Fluent in Google sheets, able to conduct analyses accurately, efficiently, & clearly
- Access to secure personal computer and fast, consistent wifi
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Extremely high personal integrity and accountability

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field
- CPA or bookkeeping certification
- Must be proficient in Quickbooks Online
- Must be proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English verbal and written

Pay: $6,000,000 - $7,000,000 per month
