**Search/Google Ads Specialist**
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $1,200/month
**Job Description**:
As a Search/Google Ads Specialist, you will manage and optimize paid search campaigns to drive traffic, increase conversions, and improve overall performance. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their objectives and execute data-driven strategies. The scope of responsibilities may vary depending on the client and project needs but will generally include the following:
Key Responsibilities:
**Phase 1: Initial Setup and Audit**:
- Conduct a Kickoff Meeting to align on campaign goals, key metrics, and expectations.
- Perform a detailed Account Audit of existing paid search campaigns, reviewing ad copy, targeting, bidding strategies, and performance metrics.
- Complete a Competitive Analysis to assess competitors' paid search strategies and uncover opportunities.
- Deliver a Benchmark Report establishing baseline metrics for ongoing comparison.
**Phase 2: Strategy Development**:
- Develop a Strategy Proposal detailing keyword adjustments, ad copy revisions, bid strategies, and targeting improvements.
- Create an Action Plan outlining specific tasks, timelines, and responsibilities.
**Phase 3: Implementation and Testing**:
- Implement campaign adjustments based on the strategy, including updating ad copy, modifying keywords, and adjusting bids.
- Conduct A/B Testing to evaluate the effectiveness of ad variations and targeting strategies.
**Phase 4: Monitoring and Optimization**:
- Continuously monitor campaign performance against established benchmarks.
- Provide Optimization Recommendations for further improving campaign performance based on data insights.
- Conduct a Mid-Pilot Review to assess progress and refine strategies as necessary.
**Phase 5: Final Reporting and Strategy**:
- Prepare a Final Report that outlines performance improvements, return on investment (ROI), and key lessons learned.
- Offer Strategic Recommendations for ongoing paid search efforts beyond the pilot phase.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns with a technical focus.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track and measure campaign performance.
- Ability to perform keyword research, competitive analysis, and strategic planning.
- Experience with A/B testing and optimizing campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Knowledge of SEO principles is a plus but not the primary focus.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with clients in competitive industries.
- Familiarity with additional paid search platforms, such as Bing Ads or social media advertising.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
