**Overview**

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **IT Asset Management Intern** to support our global IT Asset Management (ITAM) team. The intern will assist in maintaining accurate records of IT hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting lifecycle management activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT operations, procurement, and technology governance within a dynamic and global organization.

**Responsibilities**

- Assist with the tracking, updating, and maintaining of IT asset inventory (hardware and software).
- Support ITAM team in asset lifecycle activities: procurement, deployment, reassignment, and retirement.
- Help reconcile asset data across multiple systems
- Assist in preparing reports and dashboards related to asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle status.
- Participate in projects such as global laptop refresh, software license audits, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support the logistics of hardware allocation, shipping, and recovery.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure accurate asset records.
- Document procedures and update ITAM knowledge base as needed.
- And other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- English Proficiency B1 or superior.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of IT hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals) and software concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools; familiarity with databases or asset management tools is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal

**Preferred Skills**

- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools
- Knowledge of IT Asset Management frameworks (ITIL, ISO 19770) or related concepts.
- Previous internship or academic project related to IT, Procurement, or Inventory Management.
