We are looking for someone in a similar role but looking for a home-based/remote opportunity and comfortable working Eastern standard business hours, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST. _

Because we do a great job of this, we’re growing. We are therefore looking to bring on a highly skilled and motivated **Bookkeeper/Accountant** to join our remote team.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Accurately record financial transactions into QuickBooks Online
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
- Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly
- Generate and analyze financial reports using QuickBooks Online
- Provide regular financial reports to management
- Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurate and relevant
- Assist in preparing documentation for tax filings
- Support the team in ad-hoc projects and tasks

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of Bookkeeper or Accountant experience, preferably in a CPA or financial advisory firm
- Strong understanding of US accounting principles and regulations
