**Accountant/Bookkeeper - Landscaping & Construction Company**

We are a growing landscaping & construction company dedicated to delivering exceptional service and streamlined financial processes. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Accountant/Bookkeeper** to join our team. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of financial and bookkeeping tasks.

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Bookkeeping Tasks**:

- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and ledgers.
- Prepare and process invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations.

**Financial Reporting & Analysis**:

- Generate and analyze financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Track key financial metrics and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

**Process Improvement & Compliance**:

- Develop, update, and implement financial procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Work closely with the leadership team to improve financial workflows and reporting structures.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- **Financial Acumen**: Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, accounts reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
- **Communication**: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with full English fluency required.
- **Time Management**: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple financial processes efficiently.
- **Adaptability**: Self-starter capable of working independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
- **Tools Knowledge**: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software.
