**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- Define and implement a scalable architecture for a B2B SaaS platform.
- Hiring and managing a team of 4+ full stack developers
- Managing timelines and partnering with product to make important tradeoff decisions.
- Implementing best practices for the entire development team regarding writing tests, QA, documentation, etc.
- Ideate, build and maintain a B2B SaaS platform with a focus on messaging infrastructure and accounting services.
- Lead API integrations, ensuring seamless communication between various components of our internal platform.
- Oversee server and database management, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity.
- Collaborate with the team on the roadmap, providing technical insights and contributing to strategic planning.
- Utilize Jira for effective issue tracking, managing sprints, and facilitating collaboration within the development team.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure platform stability and reliability.

**QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS**: - Scrappy self-starter who has built software from the ground up.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer.
- Comfortable scoping out large projects and leading a team to deliver.
- Strong proficiency in system architecture, front-end and back-end technologies.
- Extensive experience in server and database management, particularly with AWS services.
- Hands-on experience with API documentation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bonus points if you already have a network of other team members you would like to onboard.
- Bonus points for early stage startup experience.
- Bonus points for having built SaaS messaging products/features.
- Previous experience in the vacation rental industry is a plus.
