You have deep knowledge of engineering theory and systems design, and can set an example at writing quality, performant code as well as leading with knowledge and providing technical coaching to support members in your team.- You demonstrate high levels of ownership and personal responsibility and have the ability to support the wider team with completing tasks and can be a significant contributor and often assume leadership in technical discussions and debate.About the Job
- You take ownership of the implementation of the solution to your assigned tasks and write code that is easy to understand, change and maintain. You proactively improve modules, services, systems, and codebases that you encounter.- You choose data structures appropriate for what they are trying to solve and implement services or libraries that require a deep level of domain knowledge.From time to time you’re happy to mentor and even manage other engineers and can clearly explain the architecture and design of the whole tech estate. You can rationalise the choices of technologies and can understand the data model and relationships between components.About You
- You’re an experienced mobile developer who’s passionate about all things iOS with good exposure to Swift for iOS and can write your own unit tests to ensure good quality, clean code is always produced.- You enjoy working within an agile team and have good understanding of agile principles.- An added bonus would be if you have experience with any of the following: Objective C development for iOS, React Native, Firebase, Enterprise security and Systems Architecture.About Somo
