Distritech is looking for a Controller to join our team in our Medellin office. The Controller oversees the accounting operations of the company. This position will supervise the accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processes.

**Responsibilities**:
**Accounting, Treasury and Cash Management.** _Responsible to supervise all day-to-day accounting functions of the company and aligned with the operation._

**Policies, Procedures and Controls. **_Responsible to lead and drive accounting and operational policies and procedures (Documentation, Invoicing, Collection reports, A/P);_ manage credit insurance process, and ensure customer’s credit is monitored and controlled effectively,_ including, and ensuring the organization and function adheres to company’s guidelines and all applicable laws and regulations and internal controls._

**Financial Statements and Reporting**. _Responsible for the generation of financial statements in a timely and accurately manner._

**Talent Management and Optimization of team and resources**. _Responsible to lead, drive and execute the planning and organization of tasks and priorities and talent management_

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required
- +8 years of related experience is required
- Knowledge of international (US GAAP) accounting standards
- A valuable record of improving financial results
- Languages: English and Spanish
- American Visa
