** Role Purpose**

The Salesforce Business Analyst is responsible for translating customer business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, with a focus on a Salesforce-native lending platform. This role leads discovery, documents clear specifications, and works closely with customers and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives and platform best practices.

** Key Responsibilities**

- Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with new and existing customers.

- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration specifications.

- Create and maintain process maps and requirements documentation.

- Collaborate with delivery/technical teams to clarify requirements and validate solution designs.

- Act as the primary customer-facing analyst during implementations, managing expectations and communication.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to existing customers, recommending enhancements and best practices.

- Plan and support UAT, ensuring all requirements are tested and validated.

- Capture customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of the platform and BA processes.

- Support change management by explaining the impact of new features, workflows, and integrations.

** Required Skills & Experience**

- 3+ years as a Business Analyst on Salesforce projects (ideally with managed packages or complex Salesforce-native apps).

- Proven experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for implementations and enhancements.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including:

- Flows and automation- Validation rules and security (profiles/permission sets)- Lightning components and UI configuration

- Experience creating clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

- Hands-on experience supporting UAT and managing test cases and defects.

- Experience with JIRA or similar project/issue-tracking tools.

- Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to lead discovery sessions.

- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to break down complex workflows into executable requirements.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.

- Strong collaboration with technical teams and business stakeholders.

- Preferred: Experience in lending, financial services, or a similar industry.
