We're currently searching for a** Backend** **Tech Manager **to help us grow our Backend team based in Colombia and other countries in Latin America by developing high-quality platforms.

For this position, technical skills are crucial. You'll be collaborating with team members across different departments, breaking down technical problems for other tech-team members with varying levels of experience, and communicating the rationale behind specific solutions or approaches.

***Must have skills**
- 9+ years of experience in Software Development with at least 5 of them working in Node.js, Python or PHP.
- Proficiency in MVC Frameworks (Express, Flask, Laravel or Symfony) building Cloud Native Applications.
- Experience managing direct reports in teams over 5 people in the last 2 years.
- 3+ years of experience as Tech Lead, Technical Project Manager and similar role.
- Knowledge around key aspects of Software Development Lifecycle (Planning, Estimation, Execution, Release, Infrastructure, Monitoring).
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Communication and People Skills.

**Nice-to-Have Skills**
- Proficiency in other Backend Technologies (Java or.Net) and/or fluent in a second programming language beside node.js, Python or PHP.
- Experience with Serverless Architecture such as AWS Lambda functions.
- Experience with DevOps culture and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Experience working with daily client relationships in English-speaking countries.
