**REGIONAL ACCOUNTANT**
**MISSION**

An incumbent, who will fill this role, will report directly to Regional Business Controller, and must perform an effective bookkeeping and accounting work. To provide input and advice on financial matters including record costs and expenses. Knowledge of tax strategies and preparation are typically utilized as well. It is vital for Accountant to maintain good communication with the rest of the Epiroc personnel and building teamwork as well as positive attitude towards Epiroc colleagues. Ensure that the processes of the area are efficient and generate value.

Ensure proper compliance with the Accounting, Tax, Control and group guidelines obligations.

Ensure that the policies and procedures of the area and the company are complied with

Lead continuous improvements within the area at the regional level

Coordinate that the processes of the area are standardized at the regional level
**Specific tasks and responsibilities, but are not limited to**:

- Registration and control provisions of fees, management bonuses, commissions (Requested)
- Calculation, registration, and analysis provision of guarantees
- Reclassification of leases and registration IFRS 16
- Payroll interface review and upload
- Preparation of information for Panama billing (Regional Charges)
- Tax registration
- Record of payroll deductions
- Preparation and assurance of compliance with the closing schedule for Panama and Colombia
- Preparation, loading and analysis of closing report 2OP Colombia, fixed assets
- Coordination of compliance preparation of the Panama closing report on time
- Preparation and analysis of monthly Opex report by line of business Colombia and Panama
- Preparation of Balance Sheet Review
- Control and assurance of compliance with tax obligations Panama
- Continuously work for improving efficiency in the department
- Assisting external and internal auditors by providing information and explaining accounting treatments
- Keep up to date with changes in the accounting and tax regulation.
**Skills and experiences you will need**:
Experience in multinational companies minimum 4 years of experience in similar positions
- Team management
- Knowledge of Colombian Tax regulations
- Intermediate English
