QA Automation Lead

We're looking for a **QA Automation Lead** to join the engineering team at Modus.

**About You**

**Experience Level: Senior**

**[In reference to requisition 1699]**

You have 10+ years of automation experience and experience leading and coaching automation engineers.

You have proven experience developing and improving manual and automated QA processes, increasing test coverage, improving quality, and increasing delivery speed. You are able to identify gaps and provide solutions in automation processes, implementations, and best practices.

You are a leader in the test automation space and have experience defining and implementing automation processes and best practices.

You have hands-on experience building automation solutions and frameworks from scratch for Web and Mobile Applications with tools like Playwright, Selenium Webdriver, Appium.

You have experience defining and implementing automation solutions leveraging DevOps pipelines.

You have experience introducing cross team collaboration and processes including QA, Dev, DevOps, and the Business Stakeholders.

You have performance testing experience with tools like JMeter.

You have a security-first mindset and a strong testing mindset.

You have hands on experience with Configuration Management (e.g. GitHub), Bug Tracking (e.g., Jira), Test Management (e.g., TestRail, Allure, ALM), Collaboration (e.g., Confluence, Slack, Sharepoint).

You have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as an analytical way of thinking.

Effective collaboration with the engineering team is essential.
- You love learning and understand that software is an ever-evolving world. You enjoy playing with new tech and exploring areas that you might not have experience with yet. You are self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in your community.
Having overlap with your team is critical when working in a global remote team. Modus requires all team members to overlap with EST hours daily. In addition, reliable high speed internet is a must.
