As our** Content Creator**, you'll play a pivotal role in building our online presence and positioning **New Heights Roofing** as the trusted authority in residential roofing. You'll write compelling articles, craft SEO-optimized content, and create educational video scripts that turn client questions into answers homeowners can actually use. This is a remote position with flexibility, ideal for someone who thrives on creativity, research, and storytelling.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain a Learning Center on our website with educational, easy-to-understand content about roofing.
- Write SEO-optimized articles (at least two per week) based on client questions and homeowner concerns.
- Create and update service and location pages to strengthen SEO performance.
- Produce content for social media platforms to boost brand visibility.
- Write video scripts, edit raw footage, and create educational video content.
- Craft portfolio posts with project photos and summaries to showcase completed work.
- Research and implement strategies to stay on the cutting edge of AI, SEO, and content marketing trends.
- Track and analyze content performance, preparing weekly reports with key metrics.
- Research and stay on top of AI-driven search developments to ensure our content shows up in recommendations.
**Qualifications**
- 3 or more years of experience in content creation, journalism, copywriting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content strategy.
- Experience writing for digital platforms and editing video content.
- Ability to take technical information (construction/roofing knowledge a plus) and turn it into engaging, accessible content.
- Research-oriented mindset; curious, detail-driven, and self-motivated to learn.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content creation is highly desirable.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in English.
- Creative, proactive, and eager to stay ahead of digital trends.
**Compensation**
- Full time position
- Hourly Rate at $6 to $8 per hour, based on experience.
