TE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.
**What your background should look like**:
**Role Statement**:
Responsible for sales in Distributors, and Utilities markets, selling all TE Product Lines for Cable Accessories, Connectors, Products for the Asset Protection of Distribution Networks, Smart Grid, Substation and Transmission Networks, developing new customers and actively looking for new opportunities.
**Key tasks of the job**:
- Develop and achieve sales forecasts while meeting key performance metrics
- To establish and building strong working relationships with customers stakeholders
- To develop and understanding the position of the customers in the market, their product, points of difference and competitive landscape
- To understand very well the TE Energy portfolio and help internal and external customers to select the right products.
- To generate demand identifying opportunities within assigned territory by specifying TE products carrying out Trainings, Technical Presentations and Seminars, etc.
- Participation in the definition of the technical solutions in accordance with customer and product specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representative for product solutions.
- To follow up to the contracts, Purchase Orders working together with Customer Care, Operation and finance areas.
**Qualifications & specialist training required**:
- Degree: Electrical Engineer. If possible complemented by a degree in Administration or Sales.
- Foreign Language: Fluent in Spanish and English proficiency
- Skills:
- Able to carry out field demonstrations of products and customers hands-on training.
- Potential to grow in the organization in the future as Regional Sales Manager.
**Experience required**:
Overall experience not less than 5 years as Sales Engineer or Account manager, managing key accounts, selling electrical products in Distribution Channels, Electrical Contractors and Utilities.
**Particular skill / aptitude required**:
- Proven work experience as Key Account Manager
- Solid experience with Salesforce software.
- Excellent Negotiation and Written and Verbal Communication Skills (Listening / Speaking)
- Friendly behavior, having power of persuasion and ability to assert himself.
- Being willing to travel inland and abroad.
- Product and Industry knowledge
- Self-motivated and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Straight forward, personable, active.
- Leadership.
- Desire to work in a growth-oriented environment.
