IT Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a QA Analyst to join our Technology Services team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the team, whose responsibilities extend beyond those of traditional with room for growth

Job Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
As a QA you'll be member of our Software Integrations team and responsible for testing all developments made by the team for J.S. Held’s internal systems. You will be charged with developing and operating a complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality of our products, but also fosters a “quality culture,” in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product. You will participate in problem solving and planning sessions to shape acceptance criteria for requirements made. Our team is geographically dispersed and therefore the ability be self-directed as you work is critical. We are a team of collaborative self-starters and we seek the same.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and create test that identify issues with software developed prior to deployment to production environment.
- Develop, write and run test cases according to acceptance criteria previously established.
- Communicate clearly to stakeholder the results of the test.
- Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables.
- Document and report findings during the execution of testing plans.
- Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
- Monitor risk-management procedures and maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and product development.
- Provide training and support to quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
- Keep a fluid, open and constructive communication with developers while providing and receiving feedback about bugs and their fixes.
- Perform re-testing when applicable.

Essential Skills and Experience
- English Proficiency Required: Full Professional Proficiency.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Testing for serverless architectures / systems.
- Highly familiar with Azure platform, especially with serverless components such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Microsoft Flows, Azure API Management
- Knowledge of QA terminology, methods and tools.
- At least 2 years of professional experience as QA.
- Knowledge with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
- Ability to work independently as well as an integral part of a team.
- Must have the ability to respond to rapidly changing environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative self-starter.

Desired
- Experience on an Agile Team.
- QA Certified.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, Azure API Management, D365, Azure Logic Apps, SQL.
