DESCRIPTION

Proper Testing is crucial to create top-tier software solutions. As a Software Testing Manager you’ll determine our testing methods and lead a team of talented professionals, in order to ensure that we are properly ensuring that our solutions are capable of handling anything clients throw at them. Lead the way towards software excellence with us.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Review/assess existing testing process, responsibilities, quality of outcomes, communication
- Create test strategy for the program
- ** Key focus area**:

- How to test that the 3 sub-systems are properly integrated and work together
- Address key gaps in existing sub-systems which risk the program
- Contribute to testing strategy of new components being developed for the program
- Plan which parts should be covered inside existing teams, existing testers
- and which parts shall be tested at program level
- Inverted test pyramid
- Define MVT (Minimum Viable Test) scope for the program
- Prioritize tests critical for the program
- Asses the risk of postponed tests
- Create objective KPIs to measure current state, progress and report it to upper management
- Split MVT to smaller parts and assign it to the proper teams to increase parallelism
- Create test plan for new and modifiable components or existing components with key gaps
- Work together and report to key stakeholders from 3 countries
- Establish proper testing standards
- Use Confluence efficiently
- Identify properly formalized requirements needed for tests
- Proper (sample) test cases
- Proper test descriptions and acceptance criteria in Jira tickets
- Educate existing teams to follow best practices
- Establish good patterns to work with requirements and test cases
- Create and show good test cases

WHAT YOU HAVE
- 6+ years of hands-on testing experience with at least 3+ years in IT project management
- Excellent project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management
- Solid knowledge of Testing Methodologies
- Extensive experience in managing projects with at least 10-12 months duration
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage the cross functional team consisting of developers, vendors, and business users
- Experience with issue resolution across multiple locations and businesses
- Demonstrated skill in client relationship management and ability to manage, direct and command respect from technical and delivery team members
- Ability to engage with the client in technology discussions
- Experience in managing implementation challenges in the area of integration, design, configurability, and infrastructure
