We are looking for a **Senior Manual QA Engineer** to join our team.
You will be responsible for testing the software technology for the industry's most innovative smart networking solution for streaming audio throughout the home. From open source Linux OS to highly customized and performance driven audio, WiFi, and platform API functionality, you will work at the center of the organization's product universe. You will collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the business across multiple disciplines of software and hardware to deliver a system that is not only seamless to setup and control, but has stunning audio quality with rock solid reliability.
You will be working with modern tools on the leading edge of **embedded software development **and **testing**.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be an active participant and engaged part of your feature team - you are the voice of both quality and the customer during the development process.
- Review requirements, behavior specifications, and design documents to begin test development early and uncover issues prior to implementation.
- Create, execute and maintain functional and system level regression test suites.
- Work with the development team to investigate logs, debug both software and hardware issues, triage bugs to determine root cause and establish prioritization.
**Qualifications**:
- 4+ years of experience in web-based technologies.
- Solid understanding of software test engineering principles, tools, techniques, and execution with an emphasis on embedded software or distributed systems.
- Experience working with embedded Linux systems.
- Experience testing cloud, RESTful APIs, HTTP technologies and with a range of 3rd party API platforms.
- Strong networking knowledge with expertise in troubleshooting and debugging.
- Experience with source control, continuous integration servers, issue tracking and collaboration tools (Git, TestRail, Jenkins, Jira and Confluence).
