**About the Role**

Reclatam is seeking a **Paralegal** to join our legal staffing team and support an immigration attorney with a primary focus on **removal defense work**. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in detail-oriented immigration processessuch as **O-1A visas or similar complex case types**who is ready to expand their skills into removal cases.

Were looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and is eager to learn. Full training on removal procedures will be provided.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Draft and review supporting documents, affidavits, and exhibits under attorney supervision.
- Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and communications with clients.
- Conduct research on country conditions, case law, and procedural updates relevant to removal proceedings.
- Prepare and organize materials for immigration court and USCIS submissions.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and agencies as needed.
- Support the attorney with other administrative or case-related tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Experience handling Removal Defense cases (this is a must).
- Prior experience in immigration law **(O-1A, employment-based, or family-based cases)** preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new case types, specifically removal defense.
- Experience using immigration case management software is a plus (e.g., Docketwise, LawLogix, or similar).
