**About the Role**:
We are seeking a talented and motivated** Product Designer**who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.

In this role, you'll shape the future of Sezzle’s user experience across web and mobile platforms. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive interfaces and features that delight users and drive engagement.

**Compensation**

For this Product Designer role the compensation range is $2,500 - $3,750 USD gross per month as a contractor. This range is designed to accommodate early-career professionals and reflects the foundational skills and potential for growth within the role.

**What You'll Do**:

- Collaborate with Product Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design user-centric features for Sezzle's platforms.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and interaction flows that are both functional and beautiful.
- Conduct user research and testing to validate design decisions and improve product usability.
- Develop design systems and maintain consistency across multiple touchpoints.
- Explore opportunities to incorporate illustration, animation, and interactive design into user interfaces to enhance engagement.
- Stay up-to-date on design trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to inspire innovative solutions.
- Define and evolve the design system, create and maintain reusable UI components in Figma, and develop documentation to ensure consistency and adoption across teams and platforms.

**What We Look For**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design or a related field.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- **Experience**: 3+ years of experience in product design for web and mobile platforms.
- **Skills**: Strong proficiency in Figma for designing and prototyping user interfaces and experience conducting user testing sessions to gather actionable insights and improve product design.
- **Creativity**: A portfolio demonstrating excellent UI/UX design skills and creative problem-solving.
- **User Focus**: A passion for crafting delightful user experiences with an emphasis on accessibility and inclusivity.
- **Design System Development**: Expertise in building scalable design systems, including typography, colors, grids, and reusable components.
- **Component Management**: Skilled in creating and maintaining UI components in Figma, with clear documentation for team adoption.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Proficient in Figma, with bonus familiarity in HTML, CSS, or React.
- **Adaptability**:Ability to balance multiple design projects with care, ensuring high-quality outcomes even under tight timelines.
- **Collaboration**: Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
