**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are looking for a Senior Software QA Manual Tester to join our team in Colombia and work on an innovative project in the pet tech industry.

**ABOUT THE PROJECT**:

Who are we looking for?

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
- 5 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer or in a similar role;
- Strong hands-on experience;
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes;
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages;
- Experience or knowledge with Git, Bitbucket, Unix/Linux, Jenkins;
- Experience testing Cloud components;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment;
- Knowledge of version control systems and issue-tracking tools;
- Intermediate (B2) English or above; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English;
**NICE TO HAVE**:

- Experience with AWS

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications;
- Design and implement test cases to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability;
- Work proactively and autonomously in different QA tasks;
- Design, implement, and monitor QA reports and metrics;
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency if needed;
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features and bug fixes do not adversely impact existing functionality;
- Collaborate with development teams to verify successful issue resolution;
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools;
- Communicates and collaborates with developers and other team members;
- Will perform additional responsibilities when required.
