Functions:
- Accounts Payables: ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices through the Invoice Workflow
System and the timely payments to employees, vendors and partners
- Accounts Receivable: accurately create and record AR
- Expense Reporting and Reimbursement: oversee payment of reimbursable expenses to employees,
raise observations and concerns to senior management; Travel and Expense Policy owner
- Budgeting: with senior management input, lead annual budgeting process ensuring business needs
are accurately reflected and meet company deadlines
- Reporting: accountability for ensuring timely, accurate and quality monthly, annual and ad hoc
reporting; maintain accruals; reconcile balance sheet accounts, subledger to ledger accounts,
banking accounts, Intercompany transfers. Prepare budget vs. actual, cost forecast and other ad hoc
reports
- Corporate Credit Card Program: monthly reconciliation of company charges
- Tax and Compliance: with external accounting firm, ensure timely and accurate entity-wide reporting
and filing, estimate tax obligations, ensure compliance with individual state requirements; ensure
appropriate accounting for tax-related issues
- Internal Controls: ensure processes are reviewed, analyzed, audited regularly to ensure financial
foundation of the company is sound and within federal, state and local requirements
- Audit support: take active role in ensuring internal and external audit activities are supported
Other activities:
- Oversee and manage non-commercial contracts and agreements (e.g. lease, benefits, service
vendors)
- Corporate Governance: lead, update and stay abreast of requirements related to local governing
documents
- Inventory: ensure controls are in place and modify, as needed; manage reconciliation proce
