**JOB TITLE: Tax Analyst**
**LOCATION: Remote**
**SCHEDULE: Full-time**
**TYPE OF CONTRACT: Contract**

**DESCRIPTION**: At ttg we are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about tax compliance and optimization for one of our client companies. Join our team as a Tax Analyst, where you will play a key role in minimizing corporate taxes while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Tax Director and gain valuable corporate tax and accounting experience.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Prepare and file Sales & Use, Telecommunications, and Property tax returns for all company entities and subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage the 1099 compliance process, including gathering W8 and W9 forms, identifying reportable payments, and filing forms with the IRS.
- Process and maintain tax exemptions issued to vendors and required from customers.
- Maintain organized tax files for all tax types and assist with audits as needed.
- Research and resolve inquiries from governmental agencies regarding tax filings and compliance.
- Assist with payroll tax-related tasks, including analysis, reconciliation, and preparation of amended returns.
- Participate in tax research and planning initiatives to minimize tax liability.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent client service and support tax agency interactions.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, or equivalent field.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate tax and accounting.
- Working understanding of state and local tax laws.
- Experience with payroll tax preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel and business tax software.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a closely supervised environment with little latitude for independent judgment.
