Bankruptcy Paralegal

We are a premier legal staffing company dedicated to matching top-notch legal professionals with reputable law firms and organizations. Our client, a prestigious law firm based in Connecticut, is seeking a talented Bilingual Bankruptcy Paralegal to join their team.

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist attorneys in all stages of bankruptcy cases, including preparation, filing, and follow-up.
- Utilize Zoho CRM and Best Case Legal software to manage case files, client communications, and deadlines.
- Conduct intake interviews with clients and gather necessary information for bankruptcy filings.
- Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other legal documents accurately and timely.
- Perform legal research on bankruptcy laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Coordinate with clients, creditors, and court personnel to ensure compliance with all requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.

**Requirements**:

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Previous experience as a Bankruptcy Paralegal or similar role.
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM and Best Case Legal software preferred.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of bankruptcy codes, rules, and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Law Degree from their home country is a must.
