The Job
You have several years of experience building high-quality, scalable, apps and you can easily write clean code, ensuring best practices.
You are passionate about the software ecosystem, disciplined and love innovation, and also work well with others in a scrum team.
What You'll Do
- Build user interface functionality across iOS devices
- Develop a scalable and maintainable component architecture
- Implement the latest best practices and conventions
- As part of an agile development team, participate in the sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups and follow the agile development process
- Review, refactor and maintain codebases
- Ensure the quality of the deliverables and their code
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Proficient in Swift, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with UIKit APIs on watchOS/tvOS
- Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics
- Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading
- Experience with embedded databases and other system datastores
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services
- Familiarity with Local Databases (CouchBase, Realm, CoreData)
- Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus
- Experience with UIKit APIs on watchOS/tvOS
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is a plus
- Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
- Familiarity with continuous integration (Fastlane, Jenkins, CircleCI, Fabric)
- Experience working with multiple targets, schemes and environments
