**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Generate design ideas, conduct research, document design workflows, and contribute to all manner of graphic and visual production.
- Adhere to guidelines and collaborate with other brand design stewards to intelligently evolve client designs.
- Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and the marketing team.
- Own design work and manage time appropriately to meet established deadlines.
- Create process efficiencies to reduce overall production timelines.
- Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from project leaders and team members.

**Position Prerequisites**
- 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer or a similar role.
- Strong portfolio of design projects.
- Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), plus new tools as needed.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and understanding of coding preferred.
- Excellent illustration, animation, or other visual design skills.
- Mastery of visual/UI design on the web and native mobile, including layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and design systems creation.
- Ability to export assets to specifications, including image compression standards.
- Strong understanding of fundamental design principles for web, print, and video that influence typography, composition, colour, use of space, and hierarchy of information.
