Loan Officer Assistant

**Location**: Medellín, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Bogotá orCali.

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm EST

The Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant plays a vital role in providing front-line sales support with direct communication to clients and realtors. This position requires an outgoing personality, self-motivation, and meticulous attention to detail.

**Essential Functions**:

- Track and manage new leads, and follow up on referral business using lead management systems.
- Run credit reports and meticulously review all documentation, ensuring accurate income calculation for various loan programs.
- Determine optimal financing options and effectively communicate pre-approval decisions to clients and realtors, including discussing rates and terms.
- Utilize automated underwriting systems, including Desktop Originator/Loan Product Advisor and lender-specific systems.
- Register, price, and lock loans through lender-specific systems.
- Ensure complete files are disclosed and submitted to processing according to lender guidelines.
- Maintain constant communication with referral partners, clients, and management.
- Prioritize and monitor daily workflow to ensure all leads are handled promptly.
- Be available to work varying hours and overtime as needed.
- Take responsibility and ownership of leads in personal pipeline.
- Stay current on all investor guidelines and program changes.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with mortgage or real estate is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in computer knowledge.
- Detail-oriented.
- English B2 level
