**Position**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of 4 payroll processors who are responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple departments.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, taxes, and other withholdings.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Oversee electronic transfers or the distribution of paychecks to employees.
- Manage payroll related filings with the governmental entities.
- Address payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Human Resource and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and ensure compliance.
- Generate payroll reports for management review and analysis.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and sensitive employee data.
- Assist with year-end payroll closing and reporting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, preferably in the Dominican Republic.
- In-depth knowledge of local payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor codes.
- Strong technology skills.
- Experience with payroll software and systems; Currently processing payroll in Newsoft but anticipate a potential software conversion
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex payroll issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- ** Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory**.
