Strategio is growing rapidly and is seeking a talented Accountant with a passion for problem-solving. The Accountant will support the rapid growth from startup to scaleup. This full-time position will be reporting directly to the leadership of the organization and will handle many of the day-to-day accounting needs.

**How can you help to advance our mission?**

Working in the Operations and Finance Team as an international accountant, you will be responsible for assisting in managing financial records and transactions for a business that operates in three different countries (USA, Colombia and Canada). You will help ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulations and provide advice to management on financial matters. Part of your job will entail analyzing financial data and assisting in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. You may also be involved in tax planning and preparation, risk assessment, and auditing.

Well developed analytical skills and knowledge of global business practices and regulations are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you must have excellent English communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders across different cultures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reconciliate the company’s bank statements (credit card and checking account).
- Assist in reconciliation and running of payroll for each group of employees and subsidiary.
- Assist in reconciling Client Invoices using the different time-tracking portals
- Track and manage accounts payable
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reviews
- Assist the operations/legal team with Tax compliance or audit-related tasks
- Optimize and improve accounting processes
- Maintain company books updated in our accounting software
- Provide any accounting and financial reports requested

**Your skills**:

- Accounting experience: 2+ years of international accounting experience
- Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
- Invoice Management
- Prior experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Financial reporting, reviews, and reconciliations
- Manual journal management
- Accounting software experience
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment
