Truck Dispatcher

**Truck Dispatcher - Dry Van, Reefer, & Flatbed Freight Coordination (Bilingual: English/Spanish)**:

We are seeking a **highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher** with a solid background in transportation logistics and a passion for keeping freight moving efficiently. This position is pivotal in coordinating the transportation of **dry vans, reefers, and flatbeds**, maintaining seamless communication with drivers, brokers, and clients while ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with all regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Schedule and dispatch drivers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- **Negotiate freight rates** with brokers and clients to maximize profitability.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding freight details, delivery windows, and special requirements.
- Plan efficient routes while adapting to road, weather, or freight-related changes.
- Utilize load boards (including **DAT, TruckStop**, etc.) to source and assign loads.
- Prepare and manage dispatch paperwork including **bills of lading, PODs, and receipts**.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatches, routes, changes, delivery times, and driver logs.
- Ensure compliance with **DOT regulations** and legal trucking requirements.
- Monitor and coordinate truck maintenance and repair schedules.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints swiftly and professionally.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in truck dispatching, specifically with **reefers, dry vans, and flatbeds**.
- Solid understanding of **U.S. geography** and transportation routing.
- Proficient in using **Transportation Management Systems (TMS)** such as **Samsara** and ELD platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of **DAT, TruckStop**, and other load board platforms.
- Familiarity with **driver log monitoring**, DOT compliance, and maintenance tracking.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite** (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must have a **reliable computer, phone, high-speed internet**, and a **quiet home office** environment.
- Bilingual in **English and Spanish** is **required**.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
