**What We Are Looking For**:
We are seeking a remote Senior Bookkeeper with significant real estate accounting and Client facing experience leveraging **Yardi Voyager software**. In this position you will be the main contact for our Clients, help oversee & manage the monthly bookkeeping, and ensure accuracy across a portfolio of Clients.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2 to 5 years experience working with Yardi Voyager (**required**)
- 2 to 5 years overall experience in real estate accounting/finance, ideally at an accounting firm working on real estate clients or directly at a real estate investment/development company (**required**)
- Commercial property experience (Retail, Office, Industrial) (**required**)
- Hands-on experience with MRI software (**desirable**)
- Ability to independently manage and complete month-end close processes, including finalizing a full set of books (**required**)
- AP/AR, Bank reconciliation and Financial Report experience.
- Proved experience leading Client meetings
- Advanced English verbal and written skills as you will be one of the points of contact for the clients
- Able to hit deadlines while staying calm under pressure
- Extremely detail and process oriented - you strive in creating organization
- Proficient with communication and collaboration tools (Slack, Clickup, Workspace)

**Job duties**:

- Timely client communication
- Collaborate with Bookkeepers and the Client Success Director (CSD) on the team
- Complete bank reconciliations, accounts payables, and accounts receivables
- Answer team member questions, provide support for Client on questions
- Manage and complete month-end close and report generation
- New property set up, move-outs, owner draws, management fees
- Ensure monthly deadlines are achieved

**Location and Schedule**:
This is a virtual (remote), full-time role that demands availability between 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday.

- Bachelor's (required)

- Real Estate Accounting industry: 2 years (required)
- Yardi Voyager: 2 years (required)
- Commercial property experience (Retail, Office, Industrial): 2 years (required)
- MRI software: 2 years (preferred)
- Managing and completing month-end close processes: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Advanced English (required)
