Accounting Director

**The Job**:
Your main goal will be to supervise, follow up and evaluate the daily activities. The responsibilities of the chief accountant include establishing a financial statement by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing and verifying information, with subsequent reporting. You will also collaborate with the accounting team.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Manage and control the daily operations of the accounting department:

- Monthly and annual closing processes.
- Accounts receivable and payable.
- Ledger.
- Payroll and services.
- Treasury and budgeting.
- Analysis of variation of income and expenses.
- Reconciliations of capital assets.
- Reliable account statement reconciliations.
- Check executions.
- Activity of fixed assets.
- Debt activity.
- Control and analyze accounting data and prepare reports or financial statements.
- Coordinate and carry out annual audits.
- Make recommendations.
- Improve systems, procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Meet the objectives of financial accounting.
- Establish and maintain files and tax records to document transactions.

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Demonstrable work experience in accounting of more than 10 years l Must Have
- Advanced computer skills of MS Office, accounting software and databases l Must Have
- Ability to handle large amounts of data l Must Have
- Demonstrable knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations l Must Have
- Great attention to detail and precision l Must Have
- Ability to direct and supervise l Must Have
- Degree in Accounting or Finance l Must Have
- Proficient in English (B1-B2) l Nice to Have
