**Description & Requirements**:

- Position Summary
- We are seeking a back-end Senior Software Engineer to join the product development team for an advertising planning product. This product is of key importance to a large segment of the Interpublic Group’s users on a daily basis. The team is located primarily in Latin America, reporting to a technical lead in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Key Responsibilities
- Participate in coding and contribute to the codebase
- Develop new features and expand the product capabilities
- Manage tech debt and growing codebase so we continuously improve quality and performance
- Participate in functional design and code reviews and provide feedback to the rest of the development team
- Coordinate with QA team members
- Have a results-driven personality, high enthusiasm, energy, and confidence
- Desired Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Java (8+), Spring Boot, microservice architectures
- Familiar with functional programming principles
- Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Exposure to containerized deployment and Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines, including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Knowledge in Amazon’s AWS ecosystem desirable, particularly RDS, S3, SQS/SNS
- Jira experience desirable
- Comfortable working within the Scrum agile framework
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- If you are a full-stack developer with Angular experience that is a big plus
