**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Definition of vision and strategic plans.**:

- **Design and evaluation of software and infrastructure architectures.**:

- **Research on industry landscape and technology developments.**:

- **Authoring technical reports and presentations.**:

- **Partnering with leaders and engineers to influence and define execution plans.**:

- **Presenting to audiences at varying levels of the organization.**:

- **Creating prototypes and/or proof of concepts to demonstrate that a proposed solution would work.**:

- **Mentorship of junior engineers and technical leaders.
**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- **Deep understanding of the security models of cloud providers and cloud native operations.**:

- **Hands-on experience in building and deploying software in at least one of the major public.**:

- **Cloud providers (such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure).**:

- **Hands-on experience in the adoption of cloud technologies at enterprise scale.**:

- **Familiarity with open source cloud technologies, such as Kubernetes.**:

- **Familiarity with modern “cloud native”/DevOps practices.
