**The Opportunity**

We are in search of a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role presents an outstanding chance to be involved in various projects, spanning from new constructions to renovations, always with a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency. You will be an integral part of a highly collaborative international team, working on both national and international projects and interacting with professionals from all over the world.

**Responsibilities**:
**As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Arup, you will**:

- Project Lead mechanical engineering. Design of building services systems including heating, cooling ventilation (HVAC), plumbing, and fire systems.
- Collaborate with various fields and work alongside project managers to provide comprehensive and coordinated design deliverables.
- Assist, supervise, and mentor team members and deliver timely feedback and recognition to others.
- Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, technical reports, and presentation materials and incorporate balanced design methods in buildings.
- Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in local Professional Associations.
- Be responsible for quality standards, commercial metrics, and client relations for projects.
- Work mainly in commercial buildings, such as offices, hotels, data centers, hospitals, and others.
- Work in international environments.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience crafting building HVAC systems, and or plumbing, fire, gases systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based work.
- Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels and commercial/financial awareness.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work, and outstanding organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment.
- Professional Engineering license is preferred.
- Ideally having Revit MEP knowledge.
- Could be considered if having more industrial background in plumbing or gas systems.
