**Position Description**:
The Senior Manager, Global Process - Order to Cash (O2C) role will be responsible for supporting the Senior Director, Global Process Optimization in process design (including process mapping), process monitoring, process improvement as well as business strategies change requirements for the O2C function.
The Senior Manager, Global Process Order to Cash (O2C) role supports the O2C organization by actively identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiency and data quality via a continuous focus on process and system performance as well as customer and stakeholder experience.
This role will be working closely with the O2C Operations teams and a wide range of business partners globally and will drive process and system standardization and simplification initiatives as well as data-driven improvements for the O2C function.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Perform strategic steps and execution of the roadmap for the set vision and identified strategic direction of the Senior Director, Global Process Optimization
- Ensure compliance with global O2C processes, connections to other financial processes, and adherence to process guidelines and timelines
- Monitor and review targets and KPIs for process performance and build mechanisms for KPI reporting, exception management, and escalations
- Collaborate with process stakeholders and peer process managers to ensure effective and efficient process operations and identification and operationalization of cross‐process synergies
- Responsible for performing day-to-day activities within the O2C function
- Manage the month-end close timetable and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the required activities for the O2C function
- Monitor and measure the performance of the O2C process against specified metrics and review reports and performance against defined KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Improve the O2C process on a continual basis by utilizing industry-leading practices
- Support ad hoc projects as required
**Qualifications** Position Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business management
- At least 7 years of experience with Order to Cash and similar processes
- In depth knowledge and understanding of Customer Sales Order Processing, Invoicing, Credit Management, Dispute and Claims Handling, AR Accounting, Collection etc
- Understanding of finance principles including financial controls
- Experience with transformational programs or enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Knowledge of end-to-end process design, process improvement, systems improvement, and process controls
- Excellent communication skills with senior partners
- Detailed oriented and structured in the approach to work
**Preferred Requirements/Competencies**:
- Lean Six Sigma experience/qualification
