Summary of the role:
Senior QA Data Analyst

**The Senior QA Data Analyst will be a key member for the delivery of the R&D deliverables for BI roadmap (primarily Rate shopping).**

**This role will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and performing data quality checks across all data assets within BI (primarily Rate shopping).**

**That includes data scrapes, API, ETL jobs, reports, dashboards, and data pipelines.**

**The primary goal for this role is to ensure high quality in all BI products (primarily Rate shopping) and in data delivered to internal stakeholders and customers.**

**Are you the next Senior QA Data Analyst we are looking for?**

**In this role you’ll**:

- Have a firm understanding of data warehouse and database concepts
- Have skills with SQL queries, stored procedures, and test scripting to delete, define, load, and merge data for tests
- Have abilities to develop strategies, test plans, and test cases specific to data quality and governance.
- Have abilities to create effective ETL, scraping, API-driven test cases and scenarios based on different technology and business requirements
- Have skills for implementation of automated testing for processes
- Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the business and how it is related to its own area.
- Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
- Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from the manager.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst/Data QA
- Knowledge of the travel industry and hospitality (a plus)
- Technical Competencies: Apache AirFlow or any other data orchestration systems

Docker/K8s/Helm/Kafka. GIT.
Working experience on CI/CD.
- Preferred Qualifications:
**Experience in Data warehousing using modern standards (dimensional modeling, working knowledge of multiple types of DBs including RDBMS, Columnar, NoSQL, etc. would be beneficial) Druid preferred. Data model experience for Data warehousing using modern standards dimensional modeling: Druid or Spark.**
- Big Data Analytics (Hive, Hadoop)
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to analyze objectives, and considers options and plans.
Data Analysis, Transformation, Data pipelines, and data streaming
