**Purpose of role**:
The OCC Analyst role will bring a first level of support for SAP Operation across all Inchcape’s markets.

**Job role and Responsibilities**:
Scope:

- Runs a first technical analysis of events according to event descriptions and guided procedures.
- Monitors the SAP environment in times of low workload.
- User Management for SAP environments.

Strategy & Planning
- Supports the improvement of the OCC setup itself (e.g. reports missing documentation, or wrong alert thresholds).

Operational Management:

- Executes the event management process for the productive SAP environment.
- Complies with all IT processes and procedures and provides constructive feedback to the OCC team lead on improvement areas and pain points.
- Decides on passing events towards the incident management process based on IT policies.
- Supports next level support experts during root cause analysis.
- Groups, aggregates, and filters events based on IT policies and technical / functional experience.
- Implements service requests with adherence of the change management process.

Formal Education & Certification:
University degree in the field of computer science or management information systems or a related discipline.

**Skills and Experience Required**:
Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge about Windows and Linux Operating Systems. (Desirable)
- Basic knowledge on administration of MS SQL, HANA, ORACLE and ASE (Sybase) databases (Desirable)
- Familiarity with TCP/IP and network protocols. (Desirable)
- General knowledge about SAP software. (Desirable)
- knowledge on Agile methodology. (Desirable)

- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

Work Conditions
- Rotating shifts including weekends.
