BNP Paribas has a historical footprint in Colombia, Mexico, Perú and Argentina (Hispanic Latin America). The Bank has been in the region since 1914 and has nearly 3900 employees between Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and International Financial Services.
CIB in Hispanic Latin America has world-class teams of roughly 400, thus ensuring an overall coverage of BNP Paribas’ client franchise in the region. All BNP Paribas’ business lines have operations in Hispanic Latin America and are structured in such a way as to provide their clients with the best combination of specialists according to sector, product or geographic region. In Colombia, BNP Paribas has presence through 4 entities and 2 Rep Offices representing the Group: the BNP Paribas S.A. Rep. Office, the Corporación Financiera and BNP Paribas Securities Services Sociedad Fiduciaria S.A. for the Corporate and Institutional Banking pole. As for International Financing Services, an insurance company (Cardif), a renting company (Arval) and a Rep Office for Asset Management Services.
**Job Purpose**:
The objective of the Trainee is to provide adequate/active support to the FIC Senior Banker and Associate in charge of Colombia, Peru and Central America. He/She must also support in managing all administrative and operational aspects related to the monitoring of FIC's results and client portfolio. Additionally, he/she should elaborate market intelligence reports (e.g. company profiles, industry reports, regulatory reports, etc.) to support commercial initiatives focused on increasing fee business pipeline.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the KYC-Recertification and Onboarding process for FIC clients.
- To act as a coordinator in the day-to-day development of the FIC activity in Colombia, Peru & CAC, by keeping track of the reporting dashboards (Pipeline (CRM), budget and revenues, portfolio exposure, RWA, etc.)
- Support the marketing efforts of the FIC Associate (Colombia, CAC & Peru),
- Act as the primary back-up mainly for the FIC Associate in Colombia, CAC and Peru,
- Preparation of FIC Colombia & CAC / Peru HoT Monthly Call,
- Schedule Colombia, CAC & Peru clients Earning Release Calls and share with stakeholders
**Qualifications**
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Industrial Engineering
- English and Spanish proficiency
- Knowledge in banking products, investment banking and financial / credit risk
