**Overview**: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Platform Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of our internal developer platform, CI/CD pipelines, and data infrastructure. This role will focus on delivering a seamless and flexible platform that integrates with various tools and systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Design, implement, and maintain the internal developer platform using tools like Backstage.

Manage data warehouses, data pipelines, and other big data solutions to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Tune and optimize database performance, including configuration, indexing, and query optimization.

Ensure the reliability and scalability of APIs, implementing best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

Collaborate with engineering teams to develop scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions.

Work closely with developers to understand their needs and provide tools and processes that enhance productivity.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in platform engineering, CI/CD, and data management.

**Required Skills and Experience**:
3-5 years of proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.

Experience working with development teams to align platform capabilities with their needs.

Deep knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

Experience with building and maintaining zero-downtime deployment processes.

Hands-on experience with managing data warehouses, data pipelines, and other big data solutions.

Strong understanding of database architecture, scaling, and query performance

Technical proficiency with API-driven integrations and complex system architectures.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, track metrics, and optimize platform features based on data.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and operations teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Prior experience in a platform engineering role within a SaaS or technology company.

Familiarity with Backstage or similar developer portal tools.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
