**The Wow**

Your role as a member of the Betsson Group Legal Team will involve working closely with the rest of the organisation, providing practical and commercially focused legal advice and support to assigned business functions or teams. You will be reviewing contracts, managing litigation, interpreting legal requirements, providing counselling on substantive legal issues, and effectively communicating these to the business and external stakeholders. You will also handle legal projects and transactions. You will be working closely with the rest of the Legal Team and will provide support to the Compliance team and rest of the business, particularly the Commercial teams with a focus on labour, corporate, commercial, and intellectual property matters, as well as other areas as needed.

**A flavour of what you'll be doing**
- Advising and counselling the rest of the organisation on a wide range of legal issues associated with their commercial operations (in particular, but not limited to LATAM), with an emphasis on structuring and implementation of business transactions ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Partnering closely with the rest of the organisation and structuring and drafting (as well as aiding where necessary in the negotiation) a variety of agreements and documents relating to the business operations involving Betsson Group (in particular, but not limited to LATAM).
- Negotiating directly with external providers on drafting contracts and ongoing contract management.
- Identifying legal issues, provide analysis of legal risks, and create and implement solutions structured to achieve business objectives efficiently.
- Assisting and supporting the Legal team in developing templates, implementing processes, and delivering legal training programs for the business to enhance compliance and avoid litigation.
- Supporting the drafting, implementation and update of internal policies and processes for LATAM;
- Assisting in the management of outside legal counsel to ensure cost-effective representation, liaising based on predefined legal strategies.
- Monitoring and actively participating in the management of litigation (both administrative or judicial).
- Drafting of answers to information requests (private and/or official), as well as to consumer claims.
- Drafting of minutes for shareholders’ and/or board of directors’ meetings.
- Keeping corporate books up to date.
- Promoting legal best practices throughout the organisation;
- Providing relevant trainings on key topics related to the legal function.
- Staying up to date with changes to legislation, rules and regulations.

**You're good at**
- Experience in providing guidance to an international business, project management and handling legal issues.
- Ability to negotiate, draft and close commercial transactions by providing quick, concise, and practical legal advice to problem-solve as pro-actively and commercially aggressively as possible.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and pressurized environment, with an ability to act decisively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a team player, able to provide support to others when needed.
- Excellent command of the English and Spanish languages (both written and spoken).
- Qualified lawyer, with a postgraduate degree in commercial, corporate, contractual or business law.

**Extra Awesome**:

- Other languages are a plus.
- 3 years of relevant experience, either as in-house legal counsel in an multinational company with experience in reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, or from a reputable law firm with international exposure.
