**About the Role**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Engineer Lead, specializing in Integrations, to play a key role in advancing our technology stack at Function Health. As the Lead for Integrations, you will lead a team of engineers in developing seamless and efficient integrations that enhance the connectivity of our platforms, contributing to our mission of delivering unparalleled healthcare experiences.

**Responsibilities**:
**Integration Strategy and Leadership**:

- Develop and execute Function Health's integration strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall technology roadmap.
- Lead a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship in integration development.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with product managers, software architects, and other engineering teams to define integration requirements and objectives.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages cross-functional expertise and innovation.

**Integration Development**:

- Oversee the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient integrations between Function Health platforms and external systems.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in integration development, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.

**Technical Excellence**:

- Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in integration technologies.
- Provide technical leadership to ensure integrations meet security, scalability, and performance standards.

**Stakeholder Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing updates on integration progress and addressing technical challenges.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand user requirements and deliver seamless integration solutions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership role with a strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in integration technologies and methodologies.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GO, Rust, or Java and familiarity with ML frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, ETL processes, and data synchronization.

**Nice-to-haves**:

- Start-up experience, especially in early-stage tech companies.
- Prior experience in health tech or working with health-related data.
- Familiarity with health technologies (Oura, Whoop, Apple Watch, CGMs).

- What is Function's approach to remote work? Function is 100% remote across the United States, from Austin to New York to San Francisco. We meet up in person on occasion.
- What's the interview process like? First, you'll interact with our recruiters as an initial screening. Second, you'll meet with our VP of Engineering, Sean O'Keefe, our Technical Product Manager, John Elam, or our Platform Lead, Max Castrucci. Third, you'll meet with our Cofounder & CTO, Mike Nemke. On these calls, we're looking to understand your interests, experience, and if you're a culture fit. We will then do a short technical interview all on a Zoom call. Lastly, you'll have a Cofounders interview, where you'll meet the cofounders that have built and run the company. After that we'll send an offer If we don't give an offer, we'll be sure to provide feedback.
