**Job Description**:
We are seeking for a qualified and passionate Portuguese Middle School Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. As a teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to develop their language skills, cultural understanding, and love for the Portuguese language.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the Portuguese language curriculum for middle school students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate, ask questions, and express themselves in Portuguese.
- Teach Portuguese language skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods and materials.
- Introduce students to Portuguese literature, culture, history, and traditions, creating opportunities for cultural enrichment and appreciation.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback, and tracking their progress by school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects, cross-curricular initiatives, and extracurricular activities related to the Portuguese language and culture.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns or achievements.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in language teaching methodologies, resources, and technology to enhance instructional effectiveness.
