Information Systems Engineer

**About the Job**:

- Work under the direct command and management of the Information Technology Manager at the Latin America HQ in US.
- Responsible of deploying and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
- Responsible of equipment distribution to local and remote employees.
- Ensures company standard practices and procedures are followed.
- Help build and organize allocating equipment for hires throughout LATAM.
- Day to day focus is on the IT Support operations function, providing excellent customer service to our employees in the LATAM region.
- Support IT onboarding sessions for new LATAM employees.
- Develop and document IT procedures and pragmatic problem solving.
- Account management for password resets and lockout.
- Diagnose computer problems and provide technical support.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware.
- Provide technical support to any client or peer using the conference or training rooms.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the VoIP system present in the office, as well as any peripheral projects related to it.
- Maintain and Improve network availability and security controls.
- Take internal and external trainings as needed (including self-training modules) in order to keep product knowledge at the best possible and be an expert resource for your peers.
- Participate in team projects and meetings and collaborate effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships across multiple internal teams.
- Be able to process and respond to requests from your peers in a timely manner.
- Be able to respond to emergency situations at the office after-hours in a timely manner.
- Work with third party vendors in order to resolve reported incidents.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment as needed (up to 50lbs).
- Availability to travel international up to 30%.

**Job Experience / Abilities Required**:

- Clear understanding of the IT engineering role within the technology-sales process.
- Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills. - Strong understating of operating systems, Windows, MacOS and Linux.
- Strong understanding of common TCP/IP Service Protocols, such as ICMP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SNMP, SSH.
- Strong understanding in the following technologies and protocols: PPTP, L2TP, 802.1q, 802.1x, SSL, IKE, IPSec, 3DES, AES, SHA-1, MD5.
- Experience with design, installation and/or operation of network security solutions, including at least three of the following: Firewalls, VPNs, IDP/IPS, Antivirus Gateways, Web Content Filtering, Antispam, Vulnerability Managers, Database Security, and VoIP Security.
- Experience with authentication systems such as LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, Active Directory, Digital Certificates / PKI.
- Experience designing and/or operating/maintaining Wireless networking in a secure way.
- Strong understanding of VoIP solutions and VoIP security systems is a plus.
- Holder of network and/or security related certifications/qualifications will be an advantage.
- Experience racking network equipment.
- Experience with structured cabling.
- Experience with VMware (ESXi, VCenter) is a plus.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required, Portuguese is a plus. Exceptional ability to clearly articulate messages in the mentioned languages.
- Strong analytical skills oriented to details.
- Highly organized. Capable of working and multi-tasking across multiple projects.
- Self-motivated, with ability to work without direct supervision.
- Basic knowledge of low voltage electricity.
- Adaptable and flexible, operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work and make decisions under high pressure.

**Other Job Requirements**:

- Must have a valid visa to travel to the United States.
- Bachelor / Engineering degree on Computer Science, Electronics or Telecommunications or equivalent education and experience.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
